Alexandra (“Lexi”) Mussallem is a Certified Family Law Specialist, California Board of Legal Specialization. Lexi is a member of the Marin County Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association. Lexi’s practice focuses primarily on: (1) representing clients in traditional family law litigation; (2) advising clients in mediation; and, (3) negotiating and preparing premarital and postmarital agreements.
Lexi has lectured on marital agreements for the National Business Institute, serves as a Settlement Panelist for the Marin County Superior Court’s Bench/Bar Program, serves as an arbitrator for the Marin County Bar Association’s Fee Dispute Arbitration Program, and serves as a volunteer attorney for Marin County Superior Court’s pro per calendar. Lexi is on the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of Marin, received the Wiley Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Service in 2005, and has been recognized for her pro bono contribution of legal services to the Family and Children’s Law Center.
Lexi obtained her law degree from Hastings College of the Law in 1996, receiving the American Jurisprudence Award for Professional Responsibility. Lexi received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1992, graduating Phi Beta Kappa in Political Science with an emphasis on the study of Latin and Classical Literature.
