Charles H. DeLacey effectively and discretely represents Bay Area clients in mediations, arbitrations, private judge proceedings and court trials. Charles represents clients in complicated cases involving the valuation and division of substantial business ownership interests, private equity holdings, venture capital investments and other sophisticated financial matters. Charles frequently coordinates teams of forensic accountants, business and real estate valuation professionals, and/or mental health professionals as needed to achieve his clients' financial or child custody objectives. Charles also represents clients in the preparation and negotiation of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and in post-judgment litigation. Charles has been certified as a Family Law Specialist by the California State Bar's Board of Legal Specialization, and has been selected as a "Northern California Super Lawyer," which annually honors the top 5% of attorneys according to peer reviews.
Charles is an active member of the Family Law Sections of the State Bar of California, the Oregon State Bar, the American Bar Association, the San Francisco County Bar Association and the Marin County Bar Association. Charles serves on the San Francisco Standing Committee for the California State Bar's Family Law Executive Committee, which helps to shape legislation impacting families throughout the State of California.
